How Sehitak protects your data

Sehitak collects only the information needed to create accounts, book appointments, manage medical profiles, send notifications, and process supported payments securely.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, phone number, email, role, appointment details, doctor profile details, uploaded medical or license files, wallet transactions, and payment status references.

Payments and PayMob

Online card and wallet payments may be processed through PayMob. Sehitak does not store full card numbers or sensitive card authentication data. Payment confirmations, transaction references, and payment status may be stored to complete bookings, wallet top-ups, refunds, and support requests.

WhatsApp OTP

We use WhatsApp messages for verification codes and account recovery. Verification codes are temporary and should never be shared with anyone.

Cookies and login persistence

We use secure HTTP-only cookies for sessions and optional remembered login. These cookies help keep your account connected to your browser without exposing tokens to JavaScript.

Data security

We use HTTPS, password hashing, CSRF protection, secure cookies, and database-backed remember tokens. Sensitive files should be accessible only through authorized flows.

Your choices

You can update your profile, change your password, log out, and request support for correcting or removing data where legally and operationally possible.
